Cloud Architect / Senior Engineer - Azure Infrastructure

Overview

A Senior Cloud Engineer / Architect – Azure Infrastructure is sought by this leading industrial electronic equipment developer. Working closely with the IT DBA team the Senior Cloud Engineer / Architect – Azure Infrastructure will be responsible for Azure Infrastructure Management, Azure Networking, Azure Integration, Azure Cloud Architecture, Security and Compliance and Automation Integration. The Senior Cloud Engineer / Architect will be responsible for creating scalable, secure and efficient cloud solutions and for managing and maintaining the Azure cloud infrastructure and networks.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure infrastructure including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Storage and Azure Integration Platform.
• Design and implement Azure cloud architecture, security and compliance controls.
• Lead automation integration and CI/CD related activities; experience with containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Collaborate with IT DBA team to ensure reliability, security and performance of cloud solutions.
• Provide guidance on Azure security solutions, Azure Active Directory and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and network management, in a Senior Engineer or Architect role.
• Strong experience with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Integration Platform, Azure Networking, Storage.
• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Azure security solutions; AKS beneficial.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes) is desirable.
