To expand our team in the international headquarters in Bottrop, we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious personality as Team Leader (m/f/d) Laboratory Tunnel Construction und Infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the research and development of new chemical materials based on various technologies and raw materials that are used in tunnel construction.
• You evaluate and improve the commercial and environmental sustainability of our products and their application at the customer, aligning your development work strongly with the sustainability needs of our customers.
• You will research new raw materials for product development, check their usability, and maintain contact with the suppliers.
• You actively support the market launch of these materials at construction sites.
• You are responsible for the optimization of existing products (e.g., via raw material exchange) and support production in the manufacture of our products.
• You will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical management of 3 laboratory technicians. In this role, you will report to the Head of Research and Development.
• You will carry out technical application tests on the developed products and support the upscaling to production scale.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in chemistry, mineralogy, mining, or comparable qualification, preferably with connection to construction chemistry, tunnel construction, or infrastructure projects.
• In-depth specialist knowledge of tunnel construction and the construction materials used is an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of English and enjoyment of international cooperation and communication with project partners at all hierarchical levels.
• Independent, structured, and market-oriented approach to your work.
• Enjoyment of growth - both personally, in the further development of employees, and commercially.
• Experience in managing technical staff is a great advantage.
