To strengthen our team in the area of Compliance Projects Implementation at the Trier plant, we are looking for a Global Supply Chain Compliance Project Manager (m/f/d) in permanent employment.
Your job mission:
The purpose of this role is to manage Global Supply Chain Compliance related projects engagement and implementations, coordinating with factories, JTI global functions, markets, and government organizations or those appointed by authorities.
Your responsibilities:
- Serve as the main contact for GSC in respective Markets, supporting CA&C with engagement strategies for various legislations.
- Translate current and future legislative requirements into manufacturing processes and trigger compliance project implementation.
- Lead, coordinate, or assist in managing Compliance projects within the Global Supply Chain, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Define and communicate project scope, required resources, deliverables, and timelines to all stakeholders.
- Set up project communication, deliver periodic reports, monitor progress, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Review and improve solutions supporting legislative requirements, coordinating with Global Supply Chain functions, IT BTS, other JTI functions, and external suppliers.
- Ensure all Global Supply Chain functions adhere to the business reference model for legislation requirements.
- Stay updated on technical developments related to legislation requirement solutions (e.g., T&T and security features).
Your profile:
- Relevant educational background: University degree.
- Practical experience: Project management experience for middle-size cross-functional projects.
- Valuable knowledge: Experience in interpretation/assessment of legislation requirements into actionable business steps. Knowledge of tracking & tracing processes and tobacco product packaging legislation is a plus.
- Special strengths: Strong knowledge of supply chain and understanding of product-related cross-functional processes.
- Language proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Suitable personality: Excellent communication and people management skills (experience in working with Government officials and internal Corporate Affairs function is a plus).
- Practiced working time model: Flexitime.
- Travel will be required (40%).
