Business Manager - Operations
If you want to be part of what might be the most exciting development in Danish industry in recent times, now is your chance. You will leverage your expertise at the intersection of pharma and automation, concentrating on the development and implementation of cutting-edge pharmaceutical production lines. Our project pipeline is more dynamic than ever, and our pharma organization is growing at a historically high pace. To support this expansion, we are creating a new engineering department for our pharmaceutical service activities on existing installed base and new plants. You will build a new organization and disciplines from a few employees to a larger and robust team of 10-15 engineers with extensive experience with pharmaceutical projects in a few years. This team will play a pivotal role in a landmark project, migrating control systems while the customer's production facilities remain operational. Your team should become an international and well-functioning group of employees based in Middelfart, Kalundborg and Ballerup. Your focus will be to ensure that your team delivers high-quality solutions while you also ensure continuous development of both the individual employees and the team. You will become a key part of the management team for our pharma organization, where you will play a crucial role in setting strategic direction and managing daily operational challenges. Additionally, you will join our local division's Extended Management Team, where you, among other things, contributes with focus on the broader business perspective. Current projects are in Kalundborg and Bagsværd. You have the flexibility to choose your base location (Middelfart, Ballerup, and Kalundborg), if you can commit to spending at least one day per week at each ABB office to ensure visible and effective leadership. Proficiency in English is essential as it is our working language.
You will be part of ABB Denmark's fastest growing organization, Pharma Operations. We handle our projects in teams, and depending on the nature of the project, we work both with smaller, local teams and larger international teams. The respective teams are each responsible for establishing automation in a specific production area centered around ABB's controls system. When you become part of ABB, you can also look forward to becoming part of a company that emphasizes well-being, development and job satisfaction, which is why you will experience quite a few colleagues with many years of service in the larger ABB organization. As a manager, you must of course help to ensure that we can maintain the good ABB spirit in our rapidly growing pharma organization.
