Vishay Electronic GmbH (ESTA division) is a business leader in the field of power capacitors and delivers applications to the industrial market, including medical, transportation and energy. Through its applications for solar farms, or wind powers it participates actively in the transition towards a more sustainable energy.

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Director Position (m/w/d) ESTA Division

Location: This position is in Landshut and/or in Blatna (Czechia). Hybrid work (3 days on site) is feasible. However, due to the Team Management responsibility, an increased on-site presence may be required, at least in the beginning.

Main Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates umbrella strategies, guidelines and procedures for assigned operations in Blatna (Czechia), Loni (India), Shatian (China) and Landshut (Germany) in accordance with Division planning. The site leaders report to the Senior Director Operations.
• Plans and allocates regional and business-related operations budgets, resources and functional service portfolio for all operations assigned.
• Consolidates budgets for all plants (Investments, head count, expansion planning, and others) in agreement with superiors to meet defined business targets in most effective way.
• Approves all projects, investments, allocates resources to ensure reaching defined operational targets.
• Oversees operational targets such as revenue and margins, and takes any corrective actions to maintain expected levels.
• Develops programs to improve efficiency in operations and organization and drives innovation in equipment and new methods.
• Ensures functional advice to all parts of the organization to support operations.
• Supervise all plants in keeping in with any requirements (EHS, …).

What you will bring along:

• Engineering background (preferred Electronic).
• Proven track record in leading teams (international and cross-functional).
• Expertise in project management.
• Operational experience, preferably geared towards customized products with limited number.
• Fluent English language reading/writing. German an advantage.
• Advanced skills in MS-Office programs, basic knowledge of SAP System is a plus.
• Willingness to travel (international) - once a quarter to Asian locations, and once a month to the Czechia.
