COUNTRY MANAGER

We are currently looking for a skilled, experienced, and motivated individual to join Autamarocchi Intermodal GmbH at our Hamburg branch, with flexibility to travel to our Duisburg branch or other European branches of AutaMarocchi.

Position: Country Manager

The responsibilities of the Country Manager include:

1. Achieving the budget and plans set by Auta Marocchi Group management.
2. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.
3. Handling sales and PR activities, including events and fairs, in the responsible country or countries.
4. Preparing the yearly business plan and budget aligned with the Group's growth targets.
5. Managing financial and administrative activities.
6. Leading, motivating, and managing local teams to meet operational and financial targets.
7. Monitoring market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
8. Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards.

The role also involves creating and maintaining strong relationships with employees, customers, and suppliers, analyzing the market, identifying new opportunities, and supporting the internal sales team. The focus will be on developing FCL business in both domestic and international markets.

Core Activities:

• Developing road transport (FCL) and negotiating with customers.
• Identifying and maximizing commercial opportunities and contract growth.
• Planning and conducting commercial visits and calls.
• Developing strategic sales plans and negotiating contract agreements.
• Conducting continuous market scouting to identify opportunities.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in Road & Intermodal Freight Transport (FCL) in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of the transport sector.
• Strong client focus and commercial mindset.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
