Test Engineer (Flight, Model-in-the-loop)

The Company

The company is a rapidly growing aerospace technology innovator developing large‑scale unmanned aerial systems for specialized applications. Their mission is to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned aircraft through advanced engineering and model‑based development.

The Role

As a Test Engineer, you will:

• Define and implement Model‑in‑the‑Loop (MiL) test cases using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Improve and automate MiL and SiL development strategies and test setups.
• Track automated test runs and report bugs.
• Verify function design compliance with DO‑178C standards.
• Establish traceability between requirements, functions, and tests.
• Collaborate closely with systems and function engineers to ensure safe operations.
• Hold a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Have strong knowledge of model‑in‑the‑loop, V‑model, validation and verification processes (DO‑178C, DO‑278A), and model‑based design (DO‑331).
• Be proficient in MATLAB/Simulink and GIT.
• Be familiar with DO‑178C compliance.
