Overview
Country Manager (f/m/d) Patient Care Solutions Germany – join GE HealthCare as part of the International PCS team and the Senior Leadership Team DACH. This role is responsible for developing and implementing the PCS segment strategy for market share gain and profitable franchise growth in Germany, driving orders, revenue growth and value creation through product and commercial strategies. The incumbent will partner with Commercial, Product, and Country/Regional leaders to drive Solutions and Enterprise mindset, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth. The role is ideally based in the southern half of Germany with travel to the PCS HQ in Freiburg/Germany as needed.
Job Description
The Country Manager (f/m/d) Patient Care Solutions (PCS) Germany will be a member of the International PCS team and the Senior Leadership Team DACH. The role works with Region General Management, Zone Key/Executive account managers, Commercial, Marketing, Financing and International Segment Teams.
Responsibilities

- Retain and grow talent, developing a pipeline for critical positions in partnership with HR
- Strategic Engagement & Advisory
- Engage early with key stakeholders in public and private healthcare modernization programs
- Act as a senior advisor to customer organizations, scoping challenges and architecting solutions using the PCS portfolio and care area approach
- Represent GE HealthCare to C-level executives and collaborate with other business units
- Commercial Excellence
- Understand market and competitive dynamics to lead discussions on product positioning and pricing
- Execute Value Creation and Care Area strategies tailored to local needs
- Strengthen product management across segments, modalities, and channels
- Increase market visibility with funnel management and improved commercial intensity; reinforce channel partner engagement
- Build relationships with key customers at strategic and clinical decision levels
- Expand partnerships with academic institutions, KOLs, and medical societies; develop KOL management programs and engagement with reference sites
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to strengthen clinical evidence and strategic account relationships
- Prepare for new product introductions (NPIs), including regulatory approvals, training, and system configurations
- Operational Excellence
- Lead operating reviews and drive lean improvements by prioritizing defined KPIs
- Manage inventory health, PSI projections, and demonstration efficiency
- Own performance metrics and implement countermeasures as needed
- Lifecycle & Service Management
- Drive franchise growth with commercial, product teams and partners with best-in-class installed base retention, including services and offerings
- Partner with service leadership to achieve service targets and co-lead lifecycle revenue growth
- Customer Success & Innovation
- Enable customer success through innovation, efficiency and transformation programs focused on patient safety and user experience, enabled by digital technology
- Drive customer satisfaction through innovation and workflow optimization
Your profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Significant progressive leadership experience in Business Management, Product Marketing/Development, or equivalent roles within the healthcare industry
- Direct healthcare sector experience with understanding of market dynamics and customer needs
- Understanding of care areas integrated solutions (emergency, surgical & critical care) and clinical pathways
- Proven track record in sales, product management, and/or marketing; experience in high-tech capital equipment is a plus
- Leadership & Business Acumen
- Strong financial acumen and organizational planning capabilities
- Ability to respond quickly to challenges and resolve complex issues
- Project management skills for complex, cross-functional plans
- Comfort navigating ambiguity with strategic agility and results orientation
- Exemplary people management and leadership focused on collaboration and development
- Experience working with C-level executives in large healthcare organizations
- Communication & Relationship Building
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages helpful
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders
