Ensure scientific correctness of our software and help us expand across product verticals.

In the first 6 months, you will

• Closely work with the LCA team and external LCA experts to conduct lifecycle assessments and generate EPDs for newly onboarded product categories.
• Closely work with our software engineering and product team to integrate EPD methodology into the calculation logic of Emidat’s calculation backend.
• Refine our methodologies to create Product Carbon Footprints (PCFs), Lifecycle Assessments (LCAs), and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

At Emidat, we see that LCA expertise is an advantage in any role, so in the long run you can either become a senior expert in the LCA team, or you can choose to move to customer success, sales or product. What you bring along

Based on what you know about the role, you know best if you could thrive in this job.

These are some things that would help

• You have 1-2 years work experience in lifecycle assessment - having actually conducted lifecycle assessments before - ideally for construction products.
• You have holistic knowledge of the most important norms and best practices in lifecycle assessment (LCA) and environmental product declarations (EPD).
• You have a proven track-record or starting and leading initiatives, showcasing a high level of ownership.
• You are up to date with developments in the climate-tech and climate regulation space (especially for the construction industry).
