This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Consultant at UNCCD in Bonn. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for leading projects, providing expert advice on land management and restoration, collaborating with various stakeholders, and contributing to the organization's mission of sustainable land use. The role will involve strategic planning, policy development, and implementing innovative solutions to combat desertification and promote sustainable land practices.

• Expertise in land management, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation
• Strong project management skills and experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Policy development and analysis skills related to land degradation and climate change adaptation
• Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, or related field
• Experience working in international organizations or with government agencies is a plus
• Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous
