SOFTWARE ARCHITECT (Azure / Web / .NET / C#) - (m/f/d)

As Software Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technical vision and architecture of our backend and full-stack systems—ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient solutions while guiding development teams through hands-on implementation and strategic decision-making.

• Define and maintain architecture standards, patterns, and best practices across all backend and full-stack projects.
• Develop high-level product and application designs and concepts with attention to system integration, costs, efficiency, and feasibility.
• Create application architectures with focus on availability, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Set direction on key technologies (e.g., database strategy, event-driven architecture, API design, cloud services).
• Define with your colleagues all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
• Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical plans.
• Successfully communicate all concepts, architectures, and guidelines to different development teams.
• Analyse system behavior and/or performance profiling.
• Oversee progress of development teams to ensure consistency with initial design.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
• Ensure software and source code meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
• Hands-on part / Implementation of PoCs or concepts.

MUST HAVE

Several years of professional experience in:

• Design cloud-native software architectures.
• Experience in microservice architecture, event-driven and serverless architecture.
• Experience in .NET, C# and Azure.
• RESTful APIs with current .NET-Stack.
• Technical Lead experience.

Soft Skills

• Experience in technical leadership.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders and developers.
• Take over ownership and proactive development.
• Accustomed to European (German) business culture, communication, and way of thinking.
• Not afraid to advance your opinion and to bring in own ideas.
• Fluent English skills (daily work language), German skills nice to have.

NICE TO HAVE

• Azure Certifications like Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Delivery & Deployment).
• JavaScript Frameworks (React preferred) / TypeScript.
• Unit-Testing of front and backend code.
