(Senior) IT-Operations & Process Automation Engineer (gn)

Activities

As part of the IT team, you will be responsible for the management and support of IT infrastructure, client hardware, and software for Wandelbots employees, focusing on major operating system platforms and the cloud-based software stack. As an IT Operations & Process Automation Engineer @Wandelbots:

• You contribute to smooth operational processes that fit the needs of a startup by provisioning, managing, and optimizing the internal IT systems landscape.
• You’re actively working within the IT-Service Desk, providing users with everything they need to do their best job.
• You understand the business of Wandelbots and design, implement, change, and manage automations to streamline work processes by the use of SaaS automation services.
• You bring a customer-first mindset and aim to improve the user experience of our IT services.
• You love working within a variation of cloud-based tools and services and set up solutions that are cost-effective, flexible, and deliver value.
• You break down complex technological topics and help non-techies understand possibilities and limitations.
• You support projects with IT deliverables and bring Wandelbots one step further in our mission to democratize robotics every day.

Requirements

• You have several years of experience within IT Operations and Support.
• You supported and operated a company IT infrastructure using a broad range of major cloud software (e.g. Atlassian Stack, Microsoft Azure and 365, Slack, Salesforce).
• You have successfully automated business processes using web technology and services like Zapier, Make, Power Automate, and the like.
• You are familiar with the IT-Service lifecycle and tools supporting it (e.g. Jira, IT-Asset Management Database, Intune).
• Your work prioritization skills are very good and you can handle ambiguity easily.
• You have a can-do attitude and are willing to learn new things from theory to practice with a strong attitude towards delivery.
• Your communication and documentation skills are excellent.
• Friends say about you that you are a team player, open, curious, and ambitious.
• You are fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• You are willing and able to work from our Dresden office 2-3 days a week.

You are awesome if (nice-to-have)

• You have a good understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
• You have experience with DevOps approaches when managing an Azure environment.
