What you'll do
- Administer and maintain globally distributed firewall solutions to ensure seamless functionality and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement infrastructure changes, manage lifecycle updates, and safeguard firewall security and performance.
- Integrate new systems, secure internet access via proxy services, and monitor compliance.
- Investigate security incidents, address threats, research emerging risks, and apply effective remediation strategies.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and deployment of new security tools while ensuring compliance with IT security regulations and keeping documentation up to date.
Who you are
- Experienced with Fortinet and Checkpoint, holding relevant certifications in firewall and security solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud security and strong grasp of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, IP stack).
- Skilled in 2nd/3rd level support, with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Proficient in network and cloud security, with additional familiarity with BigIP F5 and Zscaler considered a plus.
- Certified in CISSP or a comparable security qualification, with hands‑on experience in regulated environments and compliance with industry standards.
