Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Due to further planned expansion, this leading sensor technology developer is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for their R+D HQ near Böblingen. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded software under RTOS (VXWorks, FreeRTOS etc.) Linux and bare-metal level software in C and C++ for fibre optic-based sensor systems used in a variety of applications worldwide. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will work as part of the software team but will also work closely with the hardware development team working with VHDL and FPGA programming.

Having completed your formal technical education, you will have gained post graduate development experience, developing software at hardware interface and embedded Linux /RTOS software in C and C++. You will have experience working at hardware interface with, preferably, some exposure to VHDL. You must speak fluent English and have intermediate (B2 minimum) German language skills.
