The Business Intelligence and Analytics Trainee supports specialist departments in making decisions on current topics and in analyzing and identifying potential improvements to manage business processes. Over 12-24 months, you will work in predominantly commercial positions in Germany and abroad, contributing statistically sound, model-based deep-dive analyses to determine market trends and forecasts. You will develop customized micro-solutions based on the latest machine learning solutions to enable data-driven, more efficient operational processes. Together with us you lay the foundation for your future as a manager, with leadership as a continual development of yourself and others, influencing processes to achieve meaningful goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support specialist departments with data-driven decision making and analysis of business processes
  • Develop customized data-driven solutions and apply machine learning techniques where appropriate
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into actionable insights

Qualifications

  • Master's or diploma in business administration, economics, mathematics/statistics, (business) informatics or a comparable degree with above-average grades (MBA, PhD or relevant experience welcomed)
  • International experience of at least three months and practical internships in data analytics, data science, data mining or machine learning
  • Proficiency in handling large data sets with tools and languages such as R, Python, SQL, Java or JavaScript; very good English and good German
  • Willingness to travel and work in different locations; flexible working in terms of time, place, and model
