Job Description

Join Rockwell Automation and help us make an impact for leading life science clients with our manufacturing and IoT software products. As Team Lead Consulting (within Professional Services MOM - Manufacturing Operations Management), you will develop a team of functional solution and recipe design consultants to build reliable software solutions based on Factory Talk PharmaSuite and other Industry 4.0 software components, adding high value to our Life Sciences clients. You will foster a diverse and inclusive workplace to achieve results aligned with our strategic guidelines. You will report to the Manager of Consulting & Training and work in a hybrid model near our offices in Karlsruhe or Munich, Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Guide functional consultants in supporting software implementation and project delivery, utilizing best practices and supporting their career growth.
  2. Lead your team through project assignments and coordinate participation in delivery projects, ensuring optimal utilization.
  3. Oversee business and process requirements, guide fit-gap analysis, and contribute to PharmaSuite solution configuration and architecture setup.
  4. Collaborate with project management and implementation teams, serving as the primary contact for functional topics with customers.
  5. Contribute to business strategy development, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Ensure functional delivery of projects within the Life Sciences to meet budget, quality, and standards.
  7. Promote a positive work environment through collaboration with team members.
  8. Take ownership of results and guide issues toward resolution.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Master's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, information systems, physics, chemistry, biology, pharma, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in MES project implementation within the Life Sciences industry, including interfaces to control systems, ERP, and LIMS.
  • Experience with customer and third-party consulting.
  • Passion for digitalization and manufacturing operations.
  • Interest in working in an international, multicultural environment.
  • Background in Life sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Devices industries.
  • Knowledge of software configuration, validated software implementation (GxP, GAMP).
  • Experience with FactoryTalk PharmaSuite.
  • Proficiency in English and German (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel (~20%).

Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 1+ year of people management experience.
  • Experience with PAS-X, Opcenter, or other MES applications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Understanding of Rockwell Automation software delivery methodology.
  • Additional language skills are an asset.
