We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Project Manager GEA Digital to join our team. You will work in close cooperation with GEA Digital Hub management where you will actively shape the further development and future success of GEA Digital. Furthermore, you are involved in the key technological, business, and strategical projects.
The GEA Digital Hub Düsseldorf is dedicated to digitalizing GEA's customer interface, creating new digital products and services, and establishing innovative business models. Working collaboratively with digital units across all divisions, the Hub offers GEA-wide platforms, services, and methods to support these efforts. As a corporate start-up, the GEA Digital Hub operates with an agile approach, driving digital transformation throughout the company.
The GEA Digital Business supports GEA in migrating its business into the digital age. We work on topics such as new business models and bring them to life for customers on the digital customer interface of the future, the GEA Portal. We work closely with our customers and the individual divisions so that we always have an ear to our internal and external customers.

Your responsibilities:

1. Lead cross-functional implementation projects for enhancing GEA Digital’s Customer Portal, Data Science, IIoT platforms.
2. Drive strategic, cross-GEA-Digital transformation projects that define and strengthen the foundation of our future digital platform and digital business success.
3. Have overall responsibility for the project organization, sub-project organization, partner consortia and general stakeholder management.
4. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
5. Prepare and deliver regular status reports to stakeholders, including executive management.
6. Present project results, insights, and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
7. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure alignment with business goals.
8. Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Master's / Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering, or IT.
2. Proven track experience in agile project management in the related fields for more than three years.
3. Experience in working with agile methods, scrum, design thinking.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
7. Structured thinker with a passion for problem-solving.
8. Previous experience in machine manufacturing industries or B2B sales is a plus.
9. High social competence and outstanding communication skills combined with analytical mindset and strong sense of responsibility and willingness to make decisions.
10. Affinity for digital topics & projects (customer portal, digital product passport, IIoT platforms, AI-based projects).
11. Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
