As a leading expert, camLine is looking for a passionate software architect for our MES Applications. You will contribute to the optimization of time‑critical operations for our products, playing a leading role in the MES team spread across several locations worldwide.

camLine offers a powerful Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tailored to customer production needs. In this role, you will work in a challenging, time‑critical production environment and further develop your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Product owner of one or more MES modules.
• Responsible for the entire software development cycle.
• Ensure operation of MES modules on customer systems.
• Technical contact person for our customers.

What You Bring

• Several years of professional experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• Experience programming with Java and/or C.
• Skill in optimal data modelling for near real‑time systems.
• Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Independent, meticulous and passionate work style.
• A balance of technical detail orientation and big‑picture thinking.

Must‑Have Technical Skills

• Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• In‑depth understanding of Oracle Optimizer and SQL execution plans for performance optimisation.

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Agile methodology experience and knowledge of manufacturing environments, particularly high‑tech electronics or semiconductors.
