Accountant / Indirect Procurement (m/w/d)

Your role covers the interface between metal purchasing and accounting. You will independently process and post incoming invoices from material suppliers. Additionally, you will manage and plan metal inventories in SAP MM and assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

1. Review and process incoming invoices for material deliveries in Basware and SAP.
2. Assist in maintaining the WE/RE account.
3. Post metal movements in SAP MM and reconcile accounts.
4. Plan monthly copper requirements.
5. Create and post exemption notices.
6. Reconcile consignment stock levels.
7. Post and settle scrap delivery notes for cable remnants and raw waste.
8. Create outgoing invoices for metal scraps.
9. Post monthly accruals and prepare reporting files for monthly and yearly closing.
10. Generate ad-hoc evaluations.
11. Communicate with internal departments and headquarters.

Qualifications:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in purchasing and/or accounting in a manufacturing company.
• SAP FI/MM knowledge.
• Experience with Basware is desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Independent and meticulous working style.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Resilience and assertiveness.
• Team player.
