Senior Marketplace Manager (m/f/d)

Full-time, Permanent Position · Düsseldorf or Remote (We are flexible!)

Your Responsibilities
  • You will take over the strategic management of one or more country accounts (DE, FR, IT, ES, UK, NL) on marketplaces such as Amazon, Otto, and other platforms.
  • You will be jointly responsible for achieving targets along the business plan – from revenue planning to operational implementation and performance tracking.
  • You will develop and continuously optimize PPC campaigns and SEO measures, with a focus on maximum visibility and efficiency.
  • You will manage conversion rate optimization for our products through targeted measures such as the creation of A+ content and Brand Stores.
  • You will analyze and continuously improve search result and sales rankings of our products on relevant marketplaces.
  • You will define and analyze relevant KPIs (e.g. ranking, CVR, CTR, ACOS) and derive data-based recommendations for action to optimize performance.
  • You will work closely with Category Management and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal product presentation and performance.
  • You will monitor market and competitor developments, identify best practices, and apply them to your marketplace strategies.
  • You will continuously expand your expertise and stay up-to-date with current trends and developments in the marketplace environment.
Your Profile
  • You have a degree in business, marketing, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have at least two years of experience managing brands under the seller model on marketplaces such as Amazon, Otto, or Kaufland – especially in PPC and SEO optimization.
  • You are numbers-driven, think analytically, and enjoy evaluating data to derive informed recommendations.
  • You have very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
  • You seek and recognize potential for improvement, take initiative, and are confident in making decisions.
  • You see problems as challenges, not obstacles – "can't be done" is not in your vocabulary.
  • You communicate confidently and fluently in both German and English, and are comfortable using both languages in daily work. Additional language skills – especially in French, Italian, or Spanish – are a plus.
  • Additional experience in online marketing and eCommerce is an advantage.
