Head of Finance and Accounting (f/m/x)

We are looking for a Head of Accounting who is leading our Accounting team in Germany, and actively shapes our financial processes. In this role, you will manage financial statements, consolidation, and process optimization - with scope for action and in an international environment.

About the role

• Responsibility for the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (in-house) and IFRS (outsourced)
• Management and further development of the accounting team
• Leading the audit process and working closely with auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations
• Implementation and integration of LucaNet
• Cross-functional collaboration with teams in Australia, UK, Manila, and Germany
• Ensuring correct financial consolidation across all international units

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in group accounting, including consolidation and financial reporting
• Strong month-end closing experience
• Hands-on experience with audit preparation and annual accounts (HGB, IFRS is outsourced)
• Knowledgeable in SAP FI, SD, and MM
• Background upgrading finance processes and further automation
• Tax knowledge and experience working with tax advisors
• Familiarity with LUCANET and its implementation
• Willingness to travel to Hamburg (minimum once a month, paid)
• Business fluent in English and German
