Your tasks:
You will represent the field of business administration with a focus on the digital transformation of companies. You will actively incorporate the latest developments in digitalization, internationalization and sustainability into your lectures.
Your lectures may focus on the following areas, among others:
- Data science and business analytics
- Data Management
- Business Process Mining
- Mathematics and statistics applied to business management issues
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of digitization projects
- Technologies for digital transformation
- Fundamentals of business administration in the context of digital transformation
In addition to teaching, we offer the opportunity to actively participate in the further development of the university and the courses on offer as well as in cooperative research with dual partners.
Your profile:
You have successfully completed a university degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable field and have a doctorate.
You have in-depth knowledge of current digital technologies and business models, ideally acquired through professional experience at the interface between business administration and information technology. Ideally, your experience will also include leadership responsibility and the management of digitalization projects.
You have a passion for supporting and developing young people and have ideally already gained experience in teaching at universities.
In presence, you bring the students and the university forward, which is why you choose to live in the region.

In accordance with § 47 LHG, a university degree, special academic qualifications (usually a doctorate), pedagogical aptitude and at least five years of practical professional experience, including at least three years outside the university sector, are required. The applicant must also be willing to participate in academic development, in particular through research and continuing academic education. A particular degree of commitment, willingness to cooperate with the companies and institutions involved and a willingness to work on committees are expected.
If the relevant requirements are met, the position will be filled as a probationary civil servant, otherwise as a permanent employee. As a rule, you can be taken on as a professor for life after three years of probationary service as a civil servant.
