In your role as Test Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for supporting the development of a test organisation with efficient use of all available resources.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a verification team
  • Distribute tasks to internal and external teams and coordinate their work
  • Present reports to management (PPM, Stream Leads, Global project manager). Critical questions regarding schedules and budgets are addressed by explaining and defending the chosen strategy
  • Developing strategies for efficient testing in a high‑pressure project, taking into account quality and deadline pressure
  • Controlling the defined processes and quality gates while considering different process landscapes and cultures and collaborating on a product
  • Training all internal and external team members to understand the required processes and tools
  • Definition of metrics for tracking progress
  • Supporting the overall defect management processes (reporting and analysis)
  • Close coordination with stakeholders regarding project progress and the deployment of internal and external employees

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in a technical or business field or relevant professional experience
  • Several years of experience in testing embedded software systems
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in the areas of test management and/or project management
  • Basic programming experience
  • Knowledge of HIL and SIL
  • Experience in using Matlab in conjunction with Simscape or Simulink to support test activities
  • Experience in development/testing of safety-related systems, e.g. IEC 61508, ISO 26262 or IEC 62304
  • ISTQB certification is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; German language is an advantage
