Principal Search Consultant (Europe, Middle East & Africa)

The Company

Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key mining client are working together to source experienced and qualified CFO for their office in Germany.

The Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy to support growth, profitability, and industrial competitiveness.
• Advise the CEO and Executive Committee on investments, capital allocation, and corporate development initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and performance improvement programs.
• Implement cost optimization and productivity initiatives across production and supply chain operations.
• Translate financial data into actionable operational and strategic insights.
• Enhance reporting, consolidation, and analytics processes using tools such as HFM/Hyperion, ERP systems, and BI platforms.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

The Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or holder of the German Wirtschaftsprüfer certification.
• Strong foundation in audit and financial reporting, paired with strategic and analytical capabilities.
• Proven track record in senior finance roles with increasing responsibility, combining financial expertise with technical acumen.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably S/4 HANA), BI tools (Power BI), and HFM/Hyperion is highly desirable.
• Decisive, pragmatic, and execution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to provide clear guidance during transitional periods and organizational change.
• Strong commitment to ethical standards and supportive, exemplary leadership.

Languages

• Fluent German (written and spoken).
• Advanced proficiency in English to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
