Your mission

  • You will lead and develop the Finance and Administration departments – including Controlling, Accounting, Business Process Management, Purchasing, Facility Management, Fleet Management, and Reception.
  • You will be responsible for financial accounting, national and international financial reporting (German Commercial Code, individual and consolidated financial statements), accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, and liquidity planning.
  • You will manage budget and forecast planning, including balance sheet and cash flow analyses, and derive sound recommendations for action.
  • You will further expand our controlling tools in investment, project, sales, and investment controlling and develop them in a practical way.
  • You will establish structured business process management and actively drive the optimization and digitalization of our processes – while maintaining high quality standards.
  • You will conduct contract negotiations in the areas of procurement and insurance and examine potential savings and optimization opportunities.
  • You analyze our key performance indicators, derive measures, and ensure their implementation.
  • You further develop our finance and controlling tools (e.g., ERP systems, Site, Power BI) and continuously monitor efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You act as the contact for banks, funding agencies, tax advisors, authorities, suppliers, and insurance companies and confidently represent the company externally.
  • You report directly to our CFO and work closely with the management team.

Your profile

  • Your foundation: a degree in business administration or a comparable qualification, complemented by several years of professional experience in finance and administration.
  • You have already gained leadership experience – whether as a team leader or department head – and understand how to develop and motivate a young team.
  • You are characterized by an affinity for numbers, analytical thinking, and a structured work style – at the same time, you find pragmatic solutions in everyday life.
  • You have experience with ERP, reporting, and planning tools, ideally also knowledge of Power BI.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English (at least C1 level).
  • Reliability, accuracy, and a sense of responsibility are just as important to you as a confident demeanor, social skills, and empathy.
  • Regular presence in Chemnitz is a given for you – you want to not only lead your team, but also actively support them.
