The Senior Application Manager SAP Manufacturing & Logistics reports to the Head of IT Applications Satisloh Group and is responsible for managing, configuring and testing SAP MM, PP, WM, QM applications, leading digitalization projects/subprojects in Manufacturing and SAP/IT area and ensuring 2nd and 3rd level support. The incumbent coordinates and works closely with internal and external stakeholders including key users, external partners and EssilorLuxottica teams. The incumbent develops and maintains the key user concept and provides training and support to the key users.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading Manufacturing and Logistics applications
• Managing, configuring and testing SAP modules MM, PP, WM, QM
• Identifying, analyzing and continuously improving manufacturing and logistics processes
• Leading digitalization projects/subprojects in manufacturing and SAP area
• Working closely with SAP community of the parent company EssilorLuxottica
• Developing and maintaining the key user concept, improve SAP skills and know-how in the business
• Staying current with Technology Trends (AI, Industry 4.0, Cloud and Digitalization)

Professional Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or comparable
• Previous work experience in a similar position with very good knowledge in end-to-end process harmonization and best practices
• At least 2 years’ experience in SAP (mandatory: MM, PP / optional: WM, QM)
• Good knowledge of other SAP modules
• Track record of taking initiative and being proactive in producing IT solutions, leading projects and developing solutions specifically based on the needs of the business
• Result-driven approach with great problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational skills with profound experience in project management
• Excellent English and German skills, both written and spoken
