Software architect (m/f/d) M/F

In implementation projects, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintainability of Java-based backend systems, incorporating a modular service architecture based on our own aixigo:BLOXX platform.

The technical leadership of a development team, as well as support and guidance for developers, are also part of your responsibilities.

You serve as a knowledge multiplier regarding the use of the aixigo:BLOXX platform within your project or for a customer or implementation partner, making you a crucial success factor for these projects.

You work closely with business consultants, analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement new software solutions.

You support the creation of offers by overseeing the implementation of requirements and anticipating challenges.

Additionally, you ensure system development with performance, scalability, and security in mind.

You stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to improve our technology landscape.

You participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.

You act as a technical expert, guiding, coaching, and supporting the development team.

We are seeking a Software Architect (m/f/d) in a hybrid model for our locations in Aachen, Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, and Paris.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar experience

Experience Level

3-5 years

Required Experience

• Experience in architecture and conception of modular systems, REST APIs, or event-based interfaces
• Experience leading development teams and delivering large-scale systems
• Structured, reliable work ethic, initiative, and team enjoyment

Required Skills

Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Technical Skills

• Very good knowledge of Java programming
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferable)
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
• Familiarity with agile development methods like Scrum or Kanban
