We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team and ensure quality across complex, high-impact projects.

This role focuses on designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated tests, collaborating with developers, project managers, and clients to improve testing processes and deliver reliable results for global enterprise clients.

Your responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning: Define acceptance criteria; participate in requirements gathering, technical solution design, planning, and estimation.
• Test Design & Execution: Create and execute comprehensive Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scripts using manual and automated approaches.
• Test Automation & Maintenance: Build, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks; monitor existing test suites; integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines; perform thorough PR reviews.
• Quality Leadership & Communication: Mentor QA team members; proactively improve testing processes and standards; provide detailed test reports; collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and share results.

Must-haves

• 5+ years of experience in test automation with advanced knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Playwright and building test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce testing and test automation.
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions), and test management tools (Xray or TestRail).
• QA Foundation: knowledge of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies.
• Professional Skills: self-motivated, reliable team player with analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach; independent yet collaborative with proactive communication and accountability; strong written and verbal English communication (B1 or higher).

Nice-to-haves

• Domain & Tools Experience: experience in the payment industry; experience with JIRA & Confluence; experience with cross-browser/device testing tools (BrowserStack), API testing (Postman), and command line interfaces; experience with AI solutions.
• Advanced Testing Knowledge: familiarity with performance testing, security testing, accessibility standards, and industry frameworks (OWASP, WCAG); knowledge of PHP or other programming languages and container orchestration (Docker).
• Leadership & Remote Work: experience mentoring others in QA or test automation; previous fully remote work experience with strong self-motivation and online communication skills.
