The Verband Deutscher Eisenbahnfachschulen e. V. (VDEF) is an educational institution with 14 centers across Germany, providing tailored training, further education, and professional development since 1920.

We are seeking a Trainer / Dozenten (m/w/d) for our centers in Berlin, Halle (Saale), and Erfurt, to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct seminars for the training and further education of dispatchers (m/w/d) and other railway personnel.
2. Assist in the training of dispatchers using simulators or training modules.
3. Create and update training materials.

Qualifications

• Fachwirt für den Bahnbetrieb (IHK) or equivalent qualification, e.g., Wirtschaftsingenieur Eisenbahnwesen with specialization in operations and infrastructure, or a similar professional background with at least 3 years of experience, including 4 months as a dispatcher.
• Strong knowledge of railway operations and regulations, excellent moderation and presentation skills, pedagogical abilities, and confident demeanor.
• Experience in designing and delivering seminars.
• Willingness to work at different locations.
• Medical fitness for railway operations.
