As the German leader for government digitalisation, my client keeps breaking boundaries and pushing innovation within the German legislation, administration, educational and medical sectors.

With their team total of 70 highly qualified C#.NET developers & architects, they create extremely complex abstract software products that use cutting edge technology to revolutionise and bring Germany’s public sectors to the 21st century.

For their most important product: Document Management system used by 10,000 lawyers, judges and assistants in Germany, my client is looking for a strong C# Software Architect who can be a key player in reaching the goal of 100,000 users in the next 5 years. In this team, you have 30 developers and 1 more architect who actively work to modernize and further develop the application.

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding abstract customer requirements and translating them into technical concepts
2. Architectural support in the migration from .NET 4.8 & WCF to .NET 6, gRPC & SignalR
3. Building an intuitive and sophisticated Angular front-end
4. Helping the team to containerize and move the application to run on both Kubernetes in the private cloud and on hyperscalers
5. Actively shape the development process and play a key role in important technological decisions

Your Profile:

1. Several years of experience as a Software Architect using C#.NET in an agile environment
2. Understanding of complex, abstract architectures and software solutions
3. Ability to establish high quality development processes and standards that your colleagues can follow
4. Willingness to dive deep into the customer’s domain and the ability to convince with very good knowledge of German and a clear way of expressing yourself, both verbally and in writing
