Head of Supply Chain - Co-Packing & Retail Campaigns

Do you have retail in your blood? Do you thrive on managing campaigns from concept to shelf — and love bringing structure, people, and performance together?

On behalf of a well-established international consumer goods company, we are looking for a senior professional to take ownership of promotional business and POS display operations, actively shaping the journey from retail display to reorder.

Overview

Operations & Project Business

  • Planning, managing, and delivering POS display campaigns on time across grocery retail, drugstores, specialist retailers, and fitness environments
  • Owning scheduling and demand planning in close coordination with sales, product development, and inbound logistics
  • Procuring promotional materials and developing packaging and display concepts
  • Coordinating transport and logistics with outbound teams and external service providers
  • Ensuring delivery reliability, inventory control, and proactive escalation management
  • Analyzing and steering promotional mechanics (ROI, sell-out rate, rate of sale)
  • End-to-end ownership of the promotional lifecycle: Display → Shelf → Sales → Reorders

Strategy & Process Optimisation

  • Contributing to annual action planning together with the sales organization
  • Designing, optimizing, and scaling end-to-end operational processes
  • Building and maintaining international supplier and freight-forwarding networks
  • Driving process and system improvements (SAP Business One, BI tools, project management systems)
  • Further developing forecasting and inventory strategies across B2B and DTC channels
  • Supporting international expansion and rollout projects

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a supply chain team of three
  • Responsibility for team targets, KPIs, and performance management
  • Close collaboration with marketing, sales, product development, and international partners
  • Contract management and negotiations with suppliers and logistics partners

Your Profile – What You Bring

  • Proven experience in large-scale retail environments (e.g. grocery, discount, drugstores)
  • Demonstrated success in managing promotional mechanics (ROI, sell-out, rate of sale)
  • Hands-on experience with POS displays and promotional business (FMCG, Food, Lifestyle, Nutrition, or similar)
  • Experience with international rollouts or cross-border projects
  • Background in FMCG, Food, Cosmetics, Fashion, or related industries
  • Strong system skills: SAP (ideally Business One), Excel, Power BI
  • Fluent English and very good German skills
  • Leadership experience combined with strong execution capabilities
  • High resilience, excellent organizational skills, and a hands-on mindset
