YOUR CHALLENGE
We seek an experienced Commercial Director (all gender) to join Maritim Hotels Mauritius. This role covers our Mauritius portfolio, including:
- Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius
- Welnest (Apartments, Penthouses & Villas)
- Jacaranda (Villas)
- La Reserve (Apartments, Penthouses)
Your responsibilities include developing and executing commercial strategies, managing revenue growth, increasing market share, and enhancing brand reputation in Mauritius. We offer a competitive salary, a dynamic environment, and growth opportunities.
Objectives of the role
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead sales, marketing, revenue management, and distribution teams.
- Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Negotiate high-value deals and contracts.
- Manage the commercial budget and resources.
- Foster a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
- Report on performance and strategic insights to senior management.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments.
Your tasks
- Manage and mentor the commercial team.
- Conduct market research and analyze customer needs.
- Develop business growth, sales, and marketing plans.
- Build relationships with key clients and partners.
- Prepare presentations and proposals.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies.
- Set pricing strategies to maximize profit.
- Collaborate with finance, business development, and operations.
YOUR SKILLS
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience as a Commercial or Sales Director.
- Proven track record in market analysis, strategic planning, and revenue achievement.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and business development.
- Experience in market research, data analysis, and budgeting.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strategic thinking and process development skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
- Multilingual in German, English, and French.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Knowledge of key markets like UK, DACH, France, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIM).
- Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, and sales analytics tools.
- Financial forecasting and budget management skills.
