We’re seeking a full-time Senior Sales Operations Specialist (m/f/d) to support effective sales processes for the EMEA region. In this role, you will ensure smooth daily operations, provide data-driven insights to support decision-making, and act as a key communication interface between Wacom’s HQ operations teams (especially Order Management, Logistics, Accounting & Tax, and Portfolio Management) and the EMEA sales team. You will play an important part in enabling the sales team to achieve tangible results and contribute to Wacom’s overall business success in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Wacom’s HQ operations teams in Japan to streamline and optimize sales processes from lead, pricing, to delivery.
  • Act as the main interface between sales and internal operational teams.
  • Monitor sales operations processes, analyze data, and support improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Coordinate internally regarding sales order issues, and facilitate escalations when needed.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of customer and product master data.
  • Coordinate internally on rebate claims validation between sales and HQ functions.
  • Handle software sales orders, including license order form processing.
  • Provide input on data requirements for sales reporting and CRM to enable accurate account and pipeline management.
  • Contribute to PSI sales data inputs (Production – Sales – Inventory) to ensure optimized stock levels in warehouses and channels.
  • Support facilitation of product allocation processes across channels.
  • Assist with product launches and end-of-life sales operations in collaboration with HQ operations and portfolio management.
  • Support production planning of regional special product configurations.
  • Provide documentation and coordination for internal audits.
  • Support training of sales team members on processes and tools.
  • Identify bottlenecks in sales operations and propose solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous efficiency improvements through process streamlining and automation.

Job requirements

  • 5+ years proven experience in sales operations, sales or a similar role (experience in IT Hardware product business is a must)
  • People management skills with 3+ year experience managing or supervising a sales or sales operations team.
  • Clear customer and business orientation, drive real impact in selling and serving customers.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, including lead generation, conversion, and pipeline management.
  • Strong structural thinking with experience working with data and designing processes.
  • Strong communication skills in English and able to communicate in German to facilitate interdisciplinary teamwork and to support sales enablement.
  • Ability to resolve issues for customers and within the sales process.
  • Good experience with CRM systems and ERP integrations.
  • Project management skills are a plus.
  • It would be an advantage if you have a basic knowledge of Japanese, but this is not a requirement. :)
