Senior Manager Electrical (m/f/d) – Exyte
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Lead Engineer Electrical (m/w/d) for our Data Center Business Unit. This position is based, depending on your availability, either in Stuttgart, Germany or Vienna, Austria.
You will be responsible for planning and engineering of electrical systems, building and leading a new team of Electrical Engineers, recruiting team members, setting goals, and ensuring successful project delivery. Responsibilities
- Planning, project planning, calculation and installation execution planning of electrotechnical systems
- Preparation of detailed execution documents (e.g., drawings, functional descriptions, bill of quantities) for procurement of installation and planning services and clarification of questions during the execution phase
- Building, leading and developing a team of Electrical Engineers
- Adherence to budget, quality and deadline requirements within the assigned projects
- Supporting project management in preparation and, if necessary, updating of schedules
- Coordination of subcontractors and ensuring the highest execution quality, as well as compliance with safety, health, and environmental protection requirements
- Coordination and control of the interfaces of the individual trades
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Extensive years of experience in leading the design of major electrical projects and/or leading electrical positions of fast-track projects, preferably in the high technology or industrial sector
- Technical knowledge and understanding of engineering, design and construction for high voltage and low voltage electrical systems from preliminary design to commissioning and handover
- Technical knowledge and understanding of project execution processes in a fast-track environment
- Extensive local construction knowledge
- Ability to mentor and motivate a team as well as experience in leadership positions within a technically challenging environment
- Excellent English skills; German skills are an advantage but not required
- Willingness to travel to project sites within Central Europe (Austria, Germany, Italy)
