The TAKKT Group is looking for a motivated Finance Process Manager - General Ledger (gn) to strengthen our team at our locations in Stuttgart, Pliening (Munich), or Budapest and shape the future of work together!

TAKKT group are expanding our presence in Budapest, Hungary, to host the new European TAKKT Competence Center (TCC). Building on recent improvements in our processes and customer experience, the TCC will support our European colleagues in streamlining processes, modernizing systems, and driving innovation. This expansion means we will be hiring highly skilled experts in digital and future-focused competencies, ensuring that we remain competitive and customer-centric as we embrace new technologies, including AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Ledger team and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, policies as well as external reporting and tax requirements.
• Understand the overall business goals and how the General Ledger team supports these goals.
• Generate ideas for process improvements and help implement them to achieve quality and productivity gains.
• Document department processes and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting (IFRS and local GAAPs).
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Act as the main contact for auditors (internal & external).
• Liaise with local company contacts regarding monthly closing procedures and upcoming issues.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to general ledger activities.
• Participate in projects.

Profile

• More than 5 years of experience in relevant field.
• University degree in economics/finance with major in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS, European local GAAP know-how beneficial).
• Excellent English language skills, additional European language skills beneficial.
• Solution & detail-oriented, structured way of working.
• Very good knowledge of MS 365 Dynamics Finance, knowledge of SAP BCM beneficial.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, knowledge of workflow solution beneficial.
• Willingness to travel.
• Team player, highly motivated, flexible, ability to work with other cultures.
