Responsibilities:

• Active participation in the newly formed Chem-Trend Europe Finance Business Partner Team.
• Internal Consulting: Building strong partnerships between Controlling and other functional areas of the company.
• Supporting management in strategic and business management issues, including change management projects.
• Collaborating closely across functions at the Maisach and Norderstedt Production Sites.
• Serving as the central contact point and collaborating with our Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) in Porto.
• Implementing change and efficiency projects to optimize processes locally and regionally.
• Developing key figures, analysis templates, and tools for results management, including business analytics and AI.
• Preparing financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) and supporting operational and strategic planning.
• Conducting business evaluations, target/actual comparisons, and ad hoc analyses for management decision-making.
• Implementing product cost calculations.
• Supporting the annual financial statements process (IFRS / HGB) in cooperation with the SSC and auditors.

Qualifications:

• Degree in economics with specialization in finance or controlling.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in controlling.
• Problem-solving oriented approach.
• Confident, proactive, and initiative-driven manner.
• Independent, analytical, and structured working style with high quality standards.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Proficient in SAP FI/CO.
• Experienced with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ideally familiar with MS Power BI and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management.
