To support our growth in Eastern Europe, we are looking for a senior Operations Director to lead our regional task force operations and build scalable project structures across multiple countries.

Central/Eastern Europe (frequent travel required)

Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania
Your Role
As Operations Director Eastern Europe, you will have full responsibility for managing and developing operational activities across HU, SK, CZ, PL, and RO. You will lead multi-country task force teams, run parallel projects, and ensure fast, reliable execution of short- and mid-term quality projects at customer sites.
Operational & Project Leadership
- Lead and coordinate sorting, rework, and firewall projects across multiple countries
- Manage multiple parallel projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Act as senior operational contact for customers (OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers) and handle escalations
Team & Resource Management
- Build and manage local project teams (typically 520 inspectors plus indirect functions)
- Assign team leaders and ensure effective staffing, shift planning, and capacity management
- Support on-site team leaders and project coordinators throughout project lifecycles (16 months)
Regional Operations & Standardization
- Develop and implement standardized operational structures and processes per country
- Support local entities and partners with execution, reporting, and quality standards
- Ensure alignment with redi-Group operational and quality requirements
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Optimize operational processes, KPIs, and reporting across projects
- Share best practices between countries and teams
- Collaborate closely with Sales, HR, and Country Management to support regional growth
Your Profile
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in:
- Automotive quality services
- Sorting / rework / firewall activities
- Industrial or manufacturing support services
- Strong background in multi-country or regional operations in Eastern Europe
- Strong people leadership and task force management skills
- Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects across borders
- English fluent (mandatory), Additional languages (Hungarian, Slovak, Czech, or German) are a strong advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently across Eastern Europe
- Flexible and hands-on leadership approach
- Residence: based in Hungary
