We are currently searching for a Manager (f/m/d) in R&D

Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility is to lead a Mechanical Engineering Team.
    The team will consist of mechanical engineers.

  • Develop the team, create individual development plans, provide feedback and recognition. Effectively coach, mentor and motivate the team for outstanding performance.

  • Manage team members to effectively transfer the latest technology from design development to implementation.

  • Provide technical guidance to the team.

  • Manage budget, including capital and Opex for the team.
    Roll-out and develop tools and processes, review and apply best-demonstrated practices, team processes, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Seek regular input and feedback from internal and external stakeholders and customers and take appropriate action. Identify and initiate discussion of key business issues affecting the project (e.g. timing of market entry, innovative technology and costs).

  • Generate innovative solutions to complex problems using multiple disciplines and technical principles. Create innovative products/processes/methods through novel combinations of expertise within the organization.

  • Collaborate with other functional managers and project managers to ensure priorities and project schedules are met.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering.

  • 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering.
