👋 About Us

Ads On Tap is a performance creative and media buying agency that helps e-commerce brands scale profitably through data-driven creative strategy. We obsess over what makes people stop scrolling, click, and convert. Our work sits at the intersection of art and analytics— we craft scroll-stopping UGC and performance ads, then let the data tell us what’s actually working.

We have a Berlin-based production studio, but our team works fully remotely across Central European Time.

🎯 The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Creative Strategy who lives and breathes ads.

You’ll lead creative strategy across our portfolio of e-commerce clients—developing concepts, writing hooks that convert, analyzing performance data, and constantly iterating based on what the numbers tell you. You’re the person who spots a winning ad before the data confirms it. You understand the mechanics of what makes creative perform. You can look at a Meta dashboard and immediately see the story the metrics are telling.

But you’re not just a doer—you’re a multiplier. You think in systems and processes. You build frameworks that make everyone around you better. Your goal isn’t just to create great ads yourself, but to build the machine that creates great ads at scale.

Whilst other people watch Netflix, you watch the Facebook Ads Library.

✅ What You’ll Do

  • Own creative strategy across multiple e-commerce accounts—from concept to analysis to iteration
  • Build and lead the creative strategy team—hire, mentor, and develop top creative talent
  • Design and improve processes that scale our creative output without sacrificing quality
  • Be a multiplier, not just an addition—create systems, templates, and frameworks that make the entire team more effective
  • Write performance copy that stops thumbs and drives conversions
  • Analyze creative performance data and translate insights into actionable creative briefs
  • Lead creative reviews and guide our production team on what to test next
  • Stay obsessively curious about trends in e-commerce, DTC, and paid social
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance creative workflows and stay ahead of the curve
  • Collaborate with media buyers to align creative strategy with account performance goals
  • Understand the business behind the ads—because ultimately, we’re here to generate sales, not just impressions
  • Above all, you have a proven track record of producing winning creatives—you can point to ads you’ve made that actually performed
  • You have excellent German language skills (native or C2)—we work with many German‑speaking clients
  • You're fluent in Facebook Ads Manager and understand how Meta’s algorithm thinks
  • You're a strong copywriter who can write hooks, scripts, and ad copy that actually convert
  • You have an obsessive eye for detail—nothing gets past you
  • You're genuinely obsessed with AI and constantly experimenting with new tools
  • You're always learning—scrolling ad libraries, studying what’s working, testing hypotheses
  • You thrive in a data‑driven environment and can back up your creative instincts with numbers
  • You have experience in e‑commerce or DTC performance marketing
  • You're curious about business—you care about unit economics, margins, and what actually moves the needle for brands
  • You think in systems—you’d rather build a process once than do the same thing twice
  • Work at the cutting edge of performance creative with brands you’ll actually be proud of
  • Be part of a small, ambitious team where your work has massive impact
  • Build something—shape the creative strategy function from the ground up
  • Fully remote with flexible working within CET hours
  • Berlin‑based studio for production support
  • Competitive compensation
