PTM (Project Technical Manager) - Initial 12 months - Up to €90 per hour - Onsite presence required - Ingolstadt

Role Overview

The PTM is responsible for managing industrial projects from initiation to post-launch support. This includes defining project scope (products, technologies, locations), coordinating timing and milestones, and overseeing cost, quality, delivery, and maintenance (QCDM) objectives. The role ensures effective competency transfer from Product Groups to Regions/Plants, contributes to process and layout design, and participates in sourcing and supplier selection. The PTM supports building specifications using standard tools (e.g., Generic Factory Design), manages local team coordination, and ensures rigorous application of project governance systems like IPRoM and IVC. They oversee setup, transfers, ramp-up, and first deliveries, ensuring alignment with customer timelines. Additionally, the role includes resource planning, stakeholder communication, and performance reporting.

Key Requirements

  1. Responsible for project management, timing, coordination
  2. Develop and transfer competencies from PG to RO/PL and sites within the perimeter
  3. Participate in process definition considering industrial layout
  4. Define project scope: products, technologies, location
  5. Participate in sourcing committees, pre-Soco, Soco, building, suppliers
  6. Define and validate standard panel suppliers
  7. Define and pilot project timing and milestones
  8. Define building standard specifications, including related documents, using the Generic Factory Design package
  9. Support sites in defining building specifications related to specific projects
  10. Manage projects with local teams to meet project requirements
  11. Define and manage project costs and savings
  12. Support IARs on industrial projects with local teams
  13. Ensure proper and rigorous use of IPRoM & efficient governance (IVC) within the perimeter
  14. Organize and manage resources and support to achieve QCDM objectives
  15. Oversee setup, physical transfer, ramp-up activities, SOP until customer first deliveries + 2 months
  16. Evaluate resources and support needed to reach project objectives
  17. Handle reporting, feedback, and project management activities
