Defining the software architecture for next-generation lithography systems, shaping the digital future of ZEISS in semiconductor manufacturing.
Finding the best solutions for pre- and post-processing of diagnostics data in software structure, technology stack, and development tools, considering hardware limitations, legacy systems, and performance requirements. This may include AI or classical solutions and hardware support, dealing with massive data volumes.
Analyzing system requirements, agreeing on technical specifications, and proposing solutions while communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as system designers, software developers, product owners, and electronics teams.
Guiding team members to adhere to best coding standards, build pipelines, and ensuring efficient/automated builds, testing, and deployment processes.
Proven experience as a software architect or developer applying state-of-the-art solutions for machine data management and analysis. Proficiency in UML, design patterns, and modeling tools like Enterprise Architect, SysML, C4 Model, or OPM.
Strong knowledge of C and C++, experience with build systems like Azure DevOps Pipelines and Git.
Experience developing real-time and non-real-time data management solutions on Linux and bare-metal systems, optionally with machine learning hardware processing.
Excellent communication skills, clarity, empathy, and a passion for solving complex challenges independently and collaboratively. Good command of English; German is optional.
