Head of HR Shared Services (m/w/d), Aschaffenburg

Our client is a very renowned and successful machinery manufacturing group based in the picturesque Spessart. The company is a global leader in technology and markets across various fields and maintains stability on multiple strategic pillars. We are seeking an experienced leader in payroll and time management for a central trust position within the People & Culture division.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership of the Payroll and Time Management departments, including development of team skills and competencies
  • Responsibility for the entire monthly group payroll
  • Act as a contact point for social security and tax law questions and communicate with social insurance carriers and authorities
  • SAP application support for administration, payroll, and time management
  • Planning and execution of SAP-HCM projects from concept to go-live
  • Documentation of process improvements and new developments
  • Interface to internal departments like Finance and external service providers
  • Handling of payroll-related audits and year-end activities

Profile:

  • Empathetic and experienced leader with high responsibility awareness, structured work style, and goal orientation. Assertive, communicative, analytical, and socially competent
  • Successfully completed commercial training or studies with relevant additional qualifications
  • Several years of professional and leadership experience in payroll, preferably in medium-sized industry
  • Broad and deep experience in payroll, compensation & benefits
  • Solid knowledge of tax and social security law
  • Experience with collective agreements and company agreements (ERA)
  • Good knowledge of occupational pension schemes
  • Experience in preparing ad-hoc reports
  • Several years of SAP experience
  • Experience working with works councils
  • Enjoyment in developing a responsible area and the overall company
