Your job mission:
The GSC Logistics Financial Analysis Manager plays a crucial role in the consolidation and reporting of the freight-related financials. The incumbent’s expertise will help optimize supply chain processes and improve the overall efficiency.

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing Month-End Closing activities for Global Logistics profit center, including analysis and matching of debits & credits, FM input, Narratives and accrual calculation and posting. Identification of variances driven by freight price changes vs volume changes as well as management of the missing freight cost postings.
  • Calculating the planned variances for Global Logistics profit center for financial planning cycles (OL/LE) based on actual freight rates (Coupa). Management of adherence to financial deadlines for FM submissions, Narratives provision and MFCF. Ensuring the correct capturing of exceptional postings/phasing in freight cost postings.
  • Participation in improvement projects for reporting and planning of logistics cost and coordination of changes with different stakeholders (GBS, factory logistics teams, Global Logistics, BTS).
  • Supporting the decision-making process on the financial setup related to freight and managing requests for exceptional postings.
  • Coordination of financials with different stakeholders (Global Logistics, Global Procurement, Corporate FP&A, local factory logistics teams, GBS O2C teams).

Your profile:

  • Relevant educational background: Degree in Finance/Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Practical experience: +3 years of working experience in a finance/controlling or logistics function in a multinational company, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Valuable knowledge: Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Special strengths: Accuracy of work and capability to work with strict deadlines.
  • Suitable personality: Very good analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Practiced working time model: flexitime.
