Your mission
As an IT architect (m/f/d) specializing in IT security, you will work closely with our experts in IT architecture management. You will provide advice and support for projects and requirements management—especially in all matters relating to IT security.
Your tasks
- Taking responsibility: support IT projects in the Microsoft cloud environment and ensure a secure, sustainable transition to operational use, while keeping LfA's overarching IT security strategy in mind.
- Taking a‑oriented approach: identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and develop tailored security measures. Create and maintain security concepts and contribute to strengthening our security architecture.
- Advancing cloud security: responsible for security solution design for M365 / Azure and for the administration of security and compliance issues in these environments.
- Act proactively: play an active role in the design of cloud‑based security architectures and support the development of new services and solutions in the areas of IT operations and IT security.
- Driving further development: review and evaluate further developments in the area of M365 / Azure in terms of their security relevance and potential for implementation and use in the IT landscape of LfA.
Your profile
- A good foundation: a successfully completed degree in computer science with a focus on IT security or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience and further training.
- Relevant expertise: professional experience in IT—ideally in a bank or insurance company— in the areas of IT architecture, IT operations, or IT security. Familiar with regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., BAIT, DORA, ISO 27001) and experience in IT projects.
- Valuable know‑how: in‑depth knowledge of cloud architectures. Think analytically and conceptually, good understanding of processes, eye for detail. Proficient in written and verbal communication. Initial experience with EAM tools is an advantage.
- Language skills: very good written and spoken German.
- The right skills: work independently, in a structured and responsible manner. Strong communication skills, professional time management, and willingness to further develop our IT landscape, combined with analytical thinking and the ability to present audit results clearly and convincingly.
