About the Role

As the Product Development Director, Colour Solutions, you will lead our global Colour Solutions organization and the development of tinting systems and services. You will oversee both long-term strategic projects and short-term solutions tailored to customer needs, aligning with product development and commercial roadmaps. Your role is crucial in driving innovation and ensuring the success of our global colour teams.

You will manage budgets, resources, and facilities to optimize productivity and project success, while working closely with product development, commercial teams, supply chain, and external partners to enhance Teknos’ position as a leader in colour solutions. You can be located in any of Teknos’ European sites. You will report to Chief Portfolio Development Officer and act as a part of global Portfolio Development leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop global Colour Solutions teams, fostering innovation and strategic alignment.
• Strategic Development: Ensure the execution of long- and short-term projects, aligning with Teknos’ roadmaps.
• Portfolio & Tinting System Management: Develop and optimize tinting systems, hardware, and software solutions with internal and external partners.
• Standardization & Best Practices: Ensure alignment across labs in ways of working, testing, and resource utilization.
• Supply Chain & Procurement Collaboration: Work with procurement to secure raw material supply, pricing strategies, and value engineering initiatives.
• Customer & Market Engagement: Support commercial teams, ensuring competitive and sustainable solutions are delivered.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain product stewardship, regulatory compliance, and health and safety standards

• Proven track record in developing and implementing colour solutions.
• Strong leadership experience managing global and multinational teams.
• Strategic and business-driven mindset with a customer focus
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to drive complex initiatives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across diverse functions and regions.
• Fluent English skills and availability to frequent travelling
