Product Owner "REALYTIX" (m/f/d)*

Realytix is one of the first innovation projects which have made it out of the innovation stage into becoming an operational unit (DAA2.1) – which grows exponentially strong.

Realytix Zero - a worldwide scalable Technology Platform (i.e. rules and pricing engine) to digitize & automate the underwriting of single risk business based on self-configuration for our business owners. The highly motivated team consists of colleagues with a broad range of know how – UW, IT Developers, Pricing experts, IT Platform Architects and Data Engineers and applies agile methodologies.

As a Product Owner you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Product Officer (CPO) in all aspects of product management and strategy. You will be responsible for assisting in defining the product vision, roadmap, and priorities, as well as ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and enable effective software delivery. Your contributions will be critical in driving innovation, optimizing processes, and delivering value to our customers.

Your Job

• Drive self-responsibly the further development of your assigned product area within Realytix Zero with the goal to maximize client satisfaction and the success of our platform overall.
• Prioritize and structure requirements based on business value, customer feedback, regulatory considerations, and market trends.
• Maintain and refine the product backlog in collaboration with the CPO, ensuring that user stories and feature specifications are clearly defined and align with strategic goals.
• Define acceptance criteria and detailed requirement specifications to guide the development team and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct acceptance tests, monitor product metrics and gather feedback to iterate and optimize features.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customer success to execute the product strategy and roadmap. Ensure alignment and communication across teams for successful product delivery.
• Assist in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management, ensuring development efforts are on track and meet milestones.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of product requirements, roadmaps, and release plans. Communicate product updates and milestones to clients and team members.

Your Profile

• Proven experience as a product owner or requirements engineer, preferably in an insurance technology environment.
• Underwriting background (any LoB) will be a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to product management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and influence without authority.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A strong team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
