To lead our media team, we are looking for a leader at our Karlsruhe or Berlin location who has a good eye for detail, is an expert in the media world, understands all online marketing disciplines, and has a deep understanding of tracking, attribution, and optimization in this context.

Tasks

1. Leading a ten-member team consisting of media strategists and online as well as offline marketing experts
2. Full responsibility for our brand budget amounting to over €60 million per year for our three core brands: IONOS, Strato, and home.pl
3. Holistic planning, control, optimization of allocation, and operational management of the brand budget along central, performance-oriented KPIs (from brand awareness to customer acquisition) of national and international campaigns for all branding channels such as linear TV, CTV, online video, and display
4. Further development of programmatic display through building additional DSPs
5. Responsibility and management of central media platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, LinkedIn
6. Central interface to brand, performance marketing, and product teams
7. Optimization of tracking and attribution setups
8. Negotiations with marketers and management of external media agencies
9. Continuous process improvement, including implementation of ways of working, standardization, and automation
10. Direct reporting line to the board, including coordination, implementation, and reporting on brand flights, budget scenarios, and forecasts

Qualifications

1. You have a degree or training in marketing, business administration/economics, (business) informatics, or a comparable field
2. You have at least ten years of relevant professional experience in media (classic and digital) with a focus on online marketing, preferably in programmatic advertising
3. You have a proven track record in efficiently managing and optimizing significant global media budgets
4. You have deep expertise in DV360 and CM360 and other DSPs/ad servers
5. Fluent German and English skills, additional language skills are welcome
