Kiteworks - Senior Director Marketing EMEA

We’re looking for a Channel Strategic Marketing Manager to execute our to-and-through partner‑led go‑to‑market growth in EMEA. You’ll blend high‑level strategy with hands‑on execution—crafting and rolling out partner GTM plans, while orchestrating in‑region subject‑matter experts to deliver deeply localized, compliance‑driven messaging and assets. Your work will enable partners to build trust, generate demand, and drive joint pipeline in markets where native‑language, co‑branded materials. IMPORTANT: This candidate must display strong Generative AI Skills – showing how they use the systems to brainstorm, plan, and build content for GTM programs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in channel marketing or partner‑led GTM (marketing) roles, preferably in cybersecurity, compliance, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proven track record balancing strategic planning with tactical campaign management.
  • Deep understanding of European regulatory frameworks (GDPR, NIS2, local data sovereignty requirements).
  • Experience working with regional teams and external agencies to produce localized, co‑branded assets.
  • Strong project management skills and comfort with marketing tools
  • Strong understanding of leveraging Generative AI systems and tools to support efforts

Skills & Attributes

  • AI-First Approach: Thorough understanding of the value of generative AI tools and their ability to drive value and swift execution to and through the channel for GTM motions.
  • Strategic Thinker & Doer: Equally at home defining high-level plans and rolling up your sleeves to execute webinars or review copy.
  • Partner-First Mindset: Passionate about enabling partners to sell and market collaboratively, recognizing their role as trusted local authorities.
  • Cross-Cultural Communicator: Fluent in English; additional European languages a plus. Skilled at adapting tone, messaging, and format to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical & Results-Oriented: Data-driven approach to pipeline growth, ROI measurement, and continuous optimization.
  • Collaborative Leader: Proven ability to guide SMEs, align global and local teams, and influence without direct authority.
  • Strategic GTM Planning:
  • Define and iterate a European channel go-to-market strategy that balances centralized vision with country-specific nuances.
  • Support segmentation and help prioritize partners by market influence, solution fit, and readiness to co-invest in demand generation.
  • Tactical Execution & Partner Enablement:
  • Develop and manage partner marketing programs: co-branded collateral, localized whitepapers (e.g., data sovereignty guides), targeted campaigns, ABM activities.
  • Coordinate regional-to-global marketing operations (events, digital campaigns, outbound) alongside regional partner teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Regional SME Management:
  • Organize and manage in-region subject‑matter contract expert(s) to create compliance-centric thought leadership: GDPR impact explainers, Schrems II workshops, local certification guides, etc.
  • Ensure all content resonates with cultural and regulatory expectations, driving credibility and demand.
  • Orchestrate joint sales and marketing initiatives with partners, from planning through deal closure.
  • Define KPIs (pipeline growth, deal velocity, partner activation rates) and implement dashboards and regular business reviews.
  • Ad Hoc Field Event Support:
  • Provide occasional support for field-led events such as industry trade shows, including localized content development, compliance-focused messaging, and technical resource coordination.
