About our Group

CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of ‘VW.OS”. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, bootloaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP & Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

Job Requirement

Must have skills:

• Shall be strong in Python (3.10+, Advanced), Shell Scripting
• Experience with Robot Framework for test automation.
• Solid understanding with Testing and Test Automation with Embedded / Automotive domains
• Shall have strong experience in test artefacts development
• Shall possess broad awareness of testing approaches, practices, and techniques.
• Good Knowledge on unit testing
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality test coverage.
• Track test execution, document results, and report bugs using Jira and Confluence
• Shall have a basic understanding protocols used in Automotive networks such as CAN, FlexRay and Ethernet.
• Shall have a good understanding of Linux / UNIX / QNX.
• Certifications pertaining to Testing is advantage (like ISTQB.etc)
• Knowledge of Release process and Release management

Nice to haves:

• Knowledge or working experience in AUTOSAR and / or Adaptive Autosar.
• Knowledge on Functional Safety & Security Testing
• Understanding of GNU/Linux and its device driver framework.
• Possess good understanding of C & C++, Git, Docker, Jenkins.
• Exposure to CI / CT / CD
• Have experience in using HIL (Hardware in Loop) based testing (CANoe based, ETAS, NI DAQ tools etc.)
• Have a good understanding of computer networking and protocols.
• Experience with defect tracking and result documentation tools.
• Good knowledge on Security and Security Testing.
