Head of System Operations (m/f/d)

as of now | Full-time | Karlsruhe

As Head of System Operations, you play a key role in the operation and further development of our IT system infrastructure. In this position, you will bring your technical experience, disciplinary leadership responsibility and strategic foresight together to make our systems stable, secure and future-proof. As an experienced manager, you will always try to set clear goals, support and develop employees, resolve conflicts, make decisions and take responsibility.

#PROFILE

• You take responsibility for the operation of the server infrastructure of our brand netcup
• You will lead and develop a team of 20 System Engineers in close collaboration with the Team Lead, promoting an open, solution-oriented, and collaborative team culture
• You will coordinate various teams between Third Level Support, on-call teams, and internal systems
• You will ensure sufficient hardware supply at our various global locations
• With your hands-on mentality, you support your department with incidents to solve the problem at the cause
• You will coordinate changes and help your teams become more efficient
• You will translate the strategic company goals for your area and develop the appropriate strategy for your team.
• You will rethink and continuously optimize the existing operational processes

#WANTED

• Completed education in computer science or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience in system engineering and leadership skills with experience in leading technical teams (professionally and disciplinarily)
• In-depth knowledge in system architectures, cloud technologies, or similar areas
• Strategic and analytical thinking as well as strong communication skills and persuasiveness
• High problem-solving competence and hands-on mentality
• Fluent in German and English
